Administration

The mandate of the department is derived from the Constitution of the Republic
of Uganda and the LG Act (as amended). The department coordinates and
provides support services to all sectors in the City. The Department is
responsible for City Clerk‟s Office, General Administration/Management
Support Services, Division Administration, Human Resource Management,
Records Management, Information and Public Relations, Information
Communication and Technology (ICT), Law Enforcement and Procurement and
Disposal. The department is Headed by the Deputy Town Clerk.

  • Plan, Manage and Coordinate for effective and efficient functioning of the City.

  • Registry and Archives for planning and decision making
